We have a winner!
July 28, 2008
This year's election just goes to show you that pollsters and pundits aren't always right. Despite reports that Spraychel was lagging in the polls, she has emerged victoriously with a landslide victory over Butterman. Spraychel summed up her campaign best:
"The refrigerator has spoken. Fruits and vegetables, meats and cheeses – they all have demanded change. They are tired of the fat, calories and greasy politics that are clogging up their lives."
The honorable Judge Judy Fruit showed Butterman some leniency after he suffered a meltdown in front of the jury. While he was spared a prison sentence, he was given five years of community service . Someone from this TV station saw him on the side of the Boston Cream Pieway picking up trash while wrapped in an orange jumpsuit.
I love this great refrigerator of ours – where every morsel has a voice in democracy. Here's to Spraychel's victory and four great years of progress, prosperity and freedom from fat and calories.* This is Spud Phillips signing off.
